Callum Gilbert started developing hands-on construction skills when he left school. After years of training and developing his skills, he founded CG Joinery & Building (Aberfeldy) Ltd with a simple aim: bring a higher standard of workmanship and project management directly to homeowners. He brings 25 years of construction experience to the business. Today we work mainly as a main contractor on residential projects: new builds, extensions and renovations. We manage every stage, from architectural liaison and building warrants through to final finishes. We also take on individual trade work, including joinery, roofing, bricklaying and blockwork. Who we help ## Homeowners who wantthe build handled. Coordinating architects, warrants, joiners, roofers, plumbers and electricians yourself takes time and creates gaps where things go wrong. We remove that job from your list. You get one team, one programme and one person to call. We’re based at Keltneyburn, near Aberfeldy, and work across Highland Perthshire and Perth and Kinross, including Pitlochry, Killin, Crieff, Dunkeld and Perth. You speak to the person responsible for the build, not a different trade every week. ### Plans before spades We work with architects and coordinate Scottish building warrant applications before work starts, so the build follows an agreed, approved design. ### The right trade for each stage Our in-house team handles the building and joinery. Plumbing and electrical work is carried out through specialist trades, coordinated on site by us. ### Clear quotations After a site visit you receive a detailed quotation, with no obligation, so you know what is included before you commit. ### Work backed after handover Builds carry 6-month and 1-year defects liability periods.
